Terms of service

Governed by Victoria, Australia
1. The agreement
By creating an account or ordering a card you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing for a company, you confirm you are allowed to.
2. Your account
Sign-in is a single-use link sent to your email address — there is no password to leak. Keep control of that mailbox, and tell support@getcardbridge.com if you think someone else has access to it. You are responsible for activity under your account, including what your team members publish.
3. What you publish
Your profile content stays yours. You give us permission to host and display it, which is what makes the product work. You confirm you have the right to use the names, logos and images you upload.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not impersonate another person, company or brand.
- Do not use a profile for phishing, fraud, malware, or to collect card or bank details.
- Do not upload unlawful, harassing or infringing content.
- Do not use collected contacts for unsolicited bulk email. Mail them only for the purpose the person expected, and honour their opt-out.
- Do not attack, probe or overload the service, or resell it without a written agreement.
We can suspend a profile that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why.
5. Cards and delivery
Printing takes about three working days, then delivery depends on the carrier. Designs are proofed digitally first, and colour on paper never matches a screen exactly. If a card arrives faulty or unreadable, tell us within 30 days and we replace it.
6. Payment
Plans are billed in advance and renew until cancelled. Cards are charged once, when ordered. Prices can change with 30 days' notice, never mid-term. Taxes are added where they apply.
7. Cancelling and refunds
Cancel any time in your account settings. The plan runs to the end of the paid period, then the profile stops resolving and the card goes quiet — there is no free tier holding your page. Export your contacts before or after; we keep them for 90 days after closure. We do not refund unused time on a cancelled plan, and printed cards are made to order so we do not accept change-of-mind returns — but neither of those limits your rights under section 8.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a card or the service has a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time, and if that does not happen, to a refund. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights, and where any clause here conflicts with the Australian Consumer Law, the law wins.
9. Availability
We aim for continuous service but do not promise it. Maintenance is announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by things outside our control.
10. Liability
The service is provided as is. Subject to section 8, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for lost profit or indirect loss. Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Ending the agreement
Close your account whenever you like. We can close it with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach of section 4 or non-payment. Export your contacts first — we delete account data on the schedule in the privacy policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts of the Commonwealth of Australia.
13. Changes
Account holders get at least 14 days' notice by email before material changes take effect. Continuing to use CardBridge after that means you accept the new version.
