Everyone who receives email from us gave us their address themselves — by creating an account, ordering a card, contacting support, or filling in a form on a customer's contact page. We do not buy, rent, scrape or swap lists, and we do not send cold outreach.

Consent

  • Product news is a separate, unticked box, confirmed by a click in a first email before anything else is sent.
  • Creating an account does not subscribe you to product news.
  • Lead alerts go only to the owner of the profile that collected the contact. We never market to a collected contact ourselves.

Unsubscribing

Every marketing email carries a visible footer link and a List-Unsubscribe header with one-click support. Requests take effect immediately and permanently, with no sign-in, no confirmation page, and no fee. Account, order and billing mail continues while your account is open.

The Spam Act 2003 gives us five working days to action an opt-out and requires the unsubscribe facility to keep working for at least 30 days after a message is sent. Ours is automated, so it takes effect in seconds, and the link stays live indefinitely.

Prefer a human? Email unsubscribe@getcardbridge.com from the address you want removed and we suppress it the same business day.

Australian law

We are an Australian business and send under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), enforced by the ACMA. That means three obligations we treat as hard rules:

  • Consent. Express consent for marketing, collected through a ticked box with wording that makes clear what you are agreeing to receive. We do not rely on inferred consent from a past purchase to keep marketing indefinitely.
  • Identification. Every message names CardBridge and carries our postal address and a working reply-to. That information stays accurate for at least 30 days after sending.
  • Unsubscribe. A functional, free opt-out in every commercial message, actioned automatically and honoured across every list and system we hold — not just the one that sent the message.

We keep records of when and how each subscriber consented, because under the Spam Act the burden of proving consent sits with the sender.

Bounces, complaints, suppression

  • Hard bounces are suppressed on first failure and never retried.
  • Soft bounces are retried a limited number of times, then suppressed.
  • Any complaint means immediate permanent suppression and cancellation of any subscription on that address.
  • The suppression list is checked before every send and is never purged.
  • Addresses with no opens in twelve months are dropped from the news list.

Authentication and sending practice

  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC are published for getcardbridge.com and aligned on every message.
  • Transactional and marketing mail use separate subdomains, so trouble with one cannot damage the other.
  • Volume ramps gradually; bounce and complaint rates are monitored continuously.
  • Every message names CardBridge in the from field, uses a reply-to a person reads, and carries our postal address.
  • postmaster@getcardbridge.com and abuse@getcardbridge.com are monitored mailboxes.

What we will never do

  • Send to purchased, rented, harvested or guessed addresses.
  • Use misleading subject lines or forged headers.
  • Market to contacts our customers collected — those addresses are not ours to mail.
  • Let a third party send through our domain or our account.

Reporting a problem

Received something you did not ask for? Send it to abuse@getcardbridge.com with full headers if you have them. We reply within one business day, suppress the address immediately, and tell you what caused it.
