We got tired of reprinting cards.
CardBridge started because a small team changed office, changed phone system, and threw away most of a box of very nice letterpress cards.
The idea is narrow on purpose. Not a networking app, not a social layer. Just the card you already hand over, with the details living somewhere you can edit.
The profile is a plain web page, the contact file is a standard vCard, and your contacts export to CSV in one click. If you leave, you take everything with you. Lock-in is a business model we would rather not have.
- We charge for the product. No advertising, and contact data is never sold or rented — not as a footnote in the terms, not at all.
- Contacts belong to whoever collected them. Leads gathered through your page are yours; we process them on your behalf.
- Email is a tool, not a channel to fill. Account mail and one optional monthly note. Details in the email policy.
- Support answers. One business day on weekdays, from someone who can see your account.
